My book Spring Changes (Scholastic 2003) will be produced as an iPad app by digital publisher Auryn, Inc. this spring.

A re-designed ellensenisi.com goes live! This is my books website. It has been totally redesigned and is a WordPress site so will be updated frequently.

Hurray for Pre-K! is now available as an app at the iTunes store. It is for iPad only at the moment but will be available for other devices soon.

I just signed a contract for my first digital book which will be published by Auryn Books. Auryn will re-create my Hurray for Pre-K title as an eBook.

The Lee and Low emergent reader I worked on last fall was released this month. It is called I Count Pumpkins.

it looks like fall is when everything happens! I’m working on an early emergent reader for Lee and Low. It will have something to do with fall and with counting; will see what evolves as I work through the conceptual phase.

I attended an excellent conference held by the professional organization PACA in NYC this month. I came away with new contacts and new tools for both multimedia and stock photography.

Kindergarten Day was released by Charlesbridge. This is a flip-me-over, fun book about a kindergarten day in both China and America. See details on the page for this title at: (link to this title on the website). Additionally, Brothers and Sisters (link to this title on the website) also gets new life in a reading program. Houghton Mifflin will be using this title in English and Spanish for paperbacks, big books, and audio recordings.

Ellen Senisi’s collection of education stock photographs is now available at a second location on the photo hosting site called PhotoShelter. The address is ellensenisi-educationphotographs.com.

PhotoShelter has more features and better interface than the software used on my ellensenisi.com website at this time. I plan to keep both sites for now.

The Senisi Multimedia website is now online at senisimultimedia.com! We have 8 videos and are working on more. We have a blog on the site, and plan to cover multimedia-related subjects.

We have 7 videos done. They are posted on Vimeo ( vimeo.com/senisimultimedia/videos ) until our website is completed.

Working hard here learning to use the video camera, making contacts, working on video editing software, and gathering material for our first production that will include video footage along with stills.

Hurray for Pre-K gets new life in a reading program. I signed a contract with McGraw Hill that gives them to right to use this title in Spanish and English paperbacks, audio versions, and big books.

Steven and I attended an enormously helpful conference of ASPP (American Society of Picture Professionals) in Boston. We learned a lot about multimedia and we made good contacts in the business.

There is a new business venture in the works! Ellen Senisi and son Steven Senisi have decided to collaborate on the creation of multimedia videos. We are planning our first videos (which will use stills only, at first), organizing the business, and learning video editing software. Watch for new developments!
