Tips to speed searches

NOTE: Site software has been recently upgraded. You can now search with multiple keywords - no more two-word limit!

-- For specific searches, type your keywords into the search box and select Match All Terms. (Don't bother with Match Exact Terms. It does not work here as on other sites.)

-- Both caption and keyword fields are searched. File names are not.

-- Search the whole site or within subject-area galleries.

-- If you find one image you like but it’s not quite right, note relevant words in the keyword or caption field and then search for those.

-- Look at my keyword list below. If you start your search knowing what kinds of words I have used for many typical situations, you will likely find what you need more quickly.

It’s easy to save searched images in lightboxes. To create lightboxes go to the SUBSCRIBE tab or Signup Now at bottom left to sign up for a free account.

To access lightboxes you have already created, log in by clicking Member Login below Options at left.
